Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

It’s time—for the riveting sequel to the #1 New York Times bestselling Clockwork Angel!
The situation at the London Institute has never been more precarious. With Mortmain and his clockwork army still threatening, the Council wants to strip Charlotte of her power and hand the running of the Enclave over to the unscrupulous and power-hungry Benedict Lightwood.

In the hope of saving Charlotte and the Institute, Will, Jem, and Tessa set out to unravel the secrets of Mortmain’s past—and discover unsettling Shadowhunter connections that hold the key not only to the enemy’s motivations, but also to the secret of Tessa’s identity. Tessa, already caught between the affections of Will and Jem, finds herself with another choice to make when she learns how the Shadowhunters helped make her a “monster.” Will she turn from them to her brother, Nate, who has been begging her to join him at Mortmain’s side? Where will her loyalties—and love—lie? Tessa alone can choose to save the Shadowhunters of London…or end them forever.

Will. No, Jem. No, Will. I can't decide. How is Tessa going to decide in the final installment of the Infernal Devices trilogy?!

I know the books take a long time to write, but I dread the wait. It's sounds like complaint but it's actually a compliment.

Sometimes when I read a book in a series and really like it but then have to wait a while for the next one to come out, I kind of loose the excitement for reading the book. And sometimes, I wonder why I even liked the series in the first place when I read a squeal. This is not anyone's fault. We, as readers, change a lot in a year. A year is a long time. So many new experiences, lessons, new books read. I never change my ratings or reviews on books because I want the review to signify what I felt at that time and in that moment. What I am trying to say is that I loved this book, it was worth the wait, and I think I would love it years from now if I picked it up again.

This is seriously one of those must-read series! I absolutely love it. I really liked the Mortal Instruments series but then I picked up Clockwork Angel and was surprised to find a series I liked even more! I got goosebumps at the end of this one. I can't wait for number three!

In case you were wondering about book number three: Clockwork Princess November/December 2012
